White Lie

'When You Compound a Lie, You Compounded The Consequences'
- Dr Mahatdir Mohamad-
- Malaysian 4th Prime Minister-

Definition:
a harmless or trivial lie, especially one told to avoid hurting someone's feelings.- Wikipedia

Discussion:
Is it wrong to lie to others so that we can achieve our goal in life?
Is it wrong to tell a little white lie to back up ourselves from the mad and angry employer?

Lie- As long as it is a lie.
It's never be a good thing.

First and foremost, we have to know the other side of the story of why people telling lies (or you say- a little white lie):

1. To escape yourselves from a bad situation:
- You were late for 15 mins and your boss asked you a killer question:
" So, why you're late today?"
You don't have any concrete reason to back up yourself, then you got an idea (a bad idea) and replied:
" My cousin got accident at home, I have to send him to the nearest hospital at 7.30 a.m but it takes longer than I expected "- In hope, your boss accept it with an open heart.

2. To win a project and gather affection:
- You are working as a promoter and the main objective is to achieve specific target daily.
Deep down in yourselves, you realized that your products is a good one but the result is quite different from one person to another.
And now- Your customer approached you and asked about the flaw of that product.
You silent for a while and try to gather all of your strength to tell him the truth (which trying to not focusing on the weakness but how to overcome it).
You start your explanation and he looks satisfied with it.
Finally, you managed to convince someone.
But, suddenly he asked  (again) the unexpected question and the answer is not (too) convenient to be heard.
Then, you decided to cover it up with a little white lie.
You think- it's not worth to loss a customer because of simple mistakes in the conversation.

3.To looks innocent.
- You plan a prank for your sister and (clearly) all of the scheme must be covered with a lot of white lie.

Effect:
Actually, this's a light topic and I want to elaborate it with simple and concise conclusion.
I really aware that majority of us can consider the implication of the white lie they have said.
But, for some reason- You have to continuously lie to make sure the 1st lie looks truth (which the opposite in reality).
Some study has been conducted (Somewhere around the earth) where the result stated that, 'People tends to commit a white lie because they afraid of the repercussion of what they did' and 'due to low self confidence (don't believe in themselves) or environmental pressure'.

To me...
You can do whatever you want as long as you ready to sacrifice (or sacrificed yourselves) for it.
